This Giving Tuesday, I’ve been reflecting on the work we’re doing through One Purpose Love — work rooted in care, dignity, and showing up for youth and families across the South Suburbs.
And I want to share what gives me hope.
Every week, I see young people learning emotional awareness, practicing coping skills, discovering their voices, and stepping into leadership. I see mothers and fathers trying their best. I see communities quietly holding one another up. And I’m reminded that hope doesn’t always arrive loudly — sometimes it shows up in small, consistent acts of care.
That’s why this season matters.
Right now, as families face rising food costs, instability, and the emotional strain that comes with both, simple support can make a real difference. Through One Purpose Love’s youth programs and pantry partnerships, we’ve committed to meeting basic needs and nurturing mental well-being — because you can’t pour into the mind when the stomach isn’t fed.
But change doesn’t happen on its own — it takes consistency, compassion, and community.
So on this Giving Tuesday, I’m inviting you to join us in a simple, tangible way through our “Buy a Box” Pantry Drive. It’s straightforward, transparent, and directly impactful.

Next week, we’re delivering pantry-requested essentials — and we want to show up strong.
To make it easy, each giving option reflects a real item at Sam’s Club that we will purchase and deliver directly to the pantry.
