🚨🚨🚨NEW FUNDRAISING PLATFORM🚨🚨

A challenge we’ve always contended with as a small grassroots organization has been collecting financial contributions and accessing funds. After initially using personal Venmo accounts, for the past 2 years, we have been using an online financial platform to facilitate this. However, accessing this platform requires a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor on our behalf, as we are not a non-profit organization. Unfortunately, our fiscal sponsor recently decided to dissolve, and as of March 15, UKVMA has been unable to receive donations.

So: we have set up a GoFundMe, and are asking you to please consider making a donation to help us maintain our activities until we find a longer-term solution. It’s more important now than ever that we show up for our neighbors in solidarity!

Your contributions will be redistributed towards:
🥬 Grocery items for delivery to neighbors
🧴 Household cleaning and toiletry items
💡 Utility bills
🚆 Transportation costs
🏠 Rental assistance
♥️ Other requests for aid
