October is ! In 2022, the CDC estimates there were 3700 sudden unexpected infant deaths. This month, we'll highlight the issue of sleep-related death and working to educate parents and caregivers about safe sleep environments. As one of the three leading causes of fatal unintentional injury for children under 14 and the leading cause of fatal injury among children under 1 year old, safe sleep is one of our top priorities.
