If you haven’t watched yet, let this be your sign! 👏🏾 I am so excited to finally see a show that openly talks about Sickle Cell in a way that gets people asking questions! It made me very emotional at first and then I was filled with nothing but pride and joy. So many times when Sickle Cell patients speak about what they are going through, they are often not believed. Seeing a crisis on my tv screen, as sad as it made me feel, I was also happy. I hope that this show allows for a bigger platform for more people to speak about Sickle Cell. More stories need to be told and believed! Congratulations to on such an amazing show and we can’t wait for a potential sequel!

Happy Juneteenth and Happy World Sickle Cell Day!

We are honored to be celebrating two wonderful holidays today. As we celebrate our freedom from enslavement, we also want to spread awareness to the Sickle Cell community! Many Black Americans struggle with the complications that this disease brings. Let’s bring more awareness to it as we left up our warriors today!
