🎉 BIG NEWS: the Community Development Commission just unanimously voted to recommend that City Council approve the City’s planned purchase of Chicago’s intercity bus terminal!

This is a HUGE step forward in our years of advocacy to save intercity bus travel in Chicago.

The fight is not over, as there are now two ordinances to pass in City Council:

➡️ An amendment to the Canal/Congress TIF to fund the purchase
➡️ An ordinance authorizing the purchase

We’re grateful for all of you sounding the alarm with us to ensure we don’t lose one of the cornerstones of our transportation system.
