Nia has been selected as Miss NABJ for the Department of Journalism. She will also be a participant in the 2026–2027 Miss JSU Coronation.

She is extremely excited about this opportunity, and her mother, Shronda Williams and the Chicago Alumni Chapter, are very very proud of her.

This is a wonderful representation and accomplishment for our Illinois students.

Nia will also be attending the NABJ Conference in Houston, Texas.

We are looking forward to seeing all that she accomplishes in the future.
