Big I'mani recently took Little JaKearra out for a standout match outing with support from the Akesh Experience Fund!

"Saturday was a day of FIRSTS for us. It was my first time having West African food and JaKearra’s first time riding horses! We started our day off at one of her favorite restaurants in Chicago before we headed to ride horses! It was rainy but we had a great time! Thank you to BBBSChi and the Akesh Fund and family for this experience!" -Big I'mani

Thank you Kingdom Charitable Trust !

Strong relationships can make a lasting difference in a young person’s life. Through community-based mentoring, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago connects youth facing adversity with caring adult mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and a consistent source of support. 🤝💚

Kingdom Charitable Trust is investing in mentorship by helping connect 1,100 young people with one-on-one mentors in 2027 through BBBS Chicago’s Community-Based Mentoring Program. 👥💫

Together, mentors and mentees participate in meaningful activities that help young people:
✨ Build confidence and leadership skills
📚 Strengthen academic engagement and achievement
🌱 Develop positive behaviors and social skill
🎯 Set goals and prepare for a successful future

We are proud to support BBBS Chicago in creating meaningful connections that empower young people to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
