From Chicago to Los Angeles to Detroit and Boston, our members are officially into summer internship season, stepping into some of the most exciting organizations across sports, automotive, entertainment, venture, and finance.

General Motors. Fifth Third Bank. Los Angeles Dodgers. Wild Card Creative Group. Cleveland Avenue. P&G (Procter & Gamble). And that’s just the start.

Every placement is a reminder that when you invest in young people, they show up, deliver, and prove what’s possible when they’re truly given a shot.

To our members everywhere: show up curious, ask every question, and own this moment. We are so proud of you.

Thank you to LA Promise Fund and The Intern Project (TIP) for investing in our young people alongside us.

Extra special thank you to Doretha Hill, Director of Internships!

Last weekend in Detroit, BMEA Independent School named The Academy Group its 2026 Trailblazer in Education at their 4th annual Educators Gala. The recognition belongs to every educator, partner, and young person who built this work with us.

If talent exists in every neighborhood, why does opportunity not? Closing that gap is what we exist to do.

Our work is an ecosystem. A 14-year journey from 4th grade through college and into careers that build long-term wealth. For young adults who took a longer path, our Amplify cohort meets them where they are. Both launch new chapters in Detroit this fall.

This August, AG 30 Detroit enrolls at Yale, the University of Michigan, Michigan State, and Howard. The award is for the work behind those acceptances.

Thank you BMEA. Thank you to our Detroit partners. And thank you to the young people whose progress this is really about.

Talent is ubiquitous. Opportunity is not. We will keep building until the second sentence is no longer true.

Our first 14-year cohort. 🎓

This week, we celebrated Decision Day across Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and Los Angeles with AG30, the Class of 2026, as they committed to their colleges of choice surrounded by the families, advisors, and staff who have supported them along the way.

AG30 represents years of growth, mentorship, opportunity, and community. Watching this cohort reach such an important milestone reflects the long-term investment at the heart of The Academy Group’s mission.

Congratulations to every member of AG30. We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited for what’s ahead. 💙

We believe that when a young person stands on a college campus, something inside them shifts.

Academy Group has been showing up on campuses across Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Connecticut this year. Some visits were college tours for members envisioning their future.

Our advisors also showed up for members already living it, like treating our Loyola and DePaul students to lunch at Pizza just to check in and remind them the village does not stop when you get there.

When AG alumni show up to walk alongside current members, the proof becomes personal. The path is real. Someone who looks like you has already walked it and we made sure they know we are still walking with them.
That is why we do this.

This is what a 14-year investment in young people looks like. 💼

100+ students. 60+ professionals. Two cities. One mission.
Academy Group exists to unlock opportunity and build a pipeline to generational wealth. Our high school members showed up and did exactly that.

Thank you to every professional who poured in. You are part of this.

AG39, welcome to the family. 🎉🙌🏾

Our 3rd Annual Acceptance Event at the was a full circle moment. New faces, familiar energy, and a village that showed up in full.

This is who we do it for.
