Save the date! Sunday, May 31 is our 7th annual evening of connection and gratitude in Evan’s memory at in Chicago. We’ll share stories, raise a glass to Evan’s spirit, and look ahead to the work still to come.

We’re thrilled to announce that the has donated $75,000 to , including their Utah Ski Camp for kids and families impacted by cancer.

Camp One Step creates free, year-round camp experiences that help children rediscover joy, confidence, and connection, all in a medically supported environment.

Thank you SO much for your support and generosity! Whether you attended last summer’s event, donated, volunteered your time, or simply helped spread the word, your support made such a meaningful difference. Because of our EJG community, we were able to raise critical funds to support research that furthers treatments and much needed patient care for pediatric leukemia.

We’re reflecting on the impact your generosity has made after Giving Tuesday.

This week, we met with Heather Anderson from NPH this week to hear stories from St. Damien Pediatric Hospital’s Oncology Ward—the project EJG funded this year. She shared how even the smallest upgrades changed everything for families. Parents used to sleep on the floor under their child’s crib because there were no chairs. Now, something as simple as a recliner gives them a safe, comfortable place to rest so they can show up for their child with strength and love.

The kids felt the difference too, and surprised us with a permanent sign they created to honor Evan and everyone who helped make these upgrades possible. They proudly held it up for a photo, excited to say thank you.

We also received a beautiful glass sculpture in Evan’s honor; a touching nod to his love of glassblowing. We accepted it on behalf of this incredible community that continues to create real-life miracles.
Your kindness creates a healing wave.

We are so grateful for the supportive community that surrounds the EJG Foundation. On this Giving Tuesday, we ask that you consider donating. Your contribution will be used to improve conditions and advance life-changing research for patients with leukemia, cancer, and fungal infections.

For the last few years, we have partnered with the Mullighan Lab at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the NPH hospital in Haiti. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us bring hope and essential medical care to those who need it most. Join us in making a difference! 💙

We are thankful to have had him 17 short years. Evan was intense, funny, crazy energy, smart, curious and pushing us hard to rise up to be the person he thought we should be. We love you so much E, Evo, Evelyn, Evanisious, Evan💙
