Uptown Vigil A weekly silent protest honoring the lives of black people murdered at the hands of those sworn to se

Uptown Vigil is a silent remembering of unarmed blacks killed by police. The sheer number of the names and signs bears witness to the undeniable truth that blacks are being unjustly targeted by law enforcement and murdered and brutalized in a silent genocide. Our goal is to raise awareness and speak for those who have no voice.

Join us tomorrow on the 900 block of W. Wilson Ave for our weekly vigil to remember the lives of black people taken from us through police violence. The vigil is from 12:30-2:30pm. Come for 10 mins, 30 minutes or two hours, whatever you can do. We stand there to honor them...to remember them...and to fight for change in 2021!
