2021 was an incredible year, but we're dreaming even bigger for 2022!

Here's a look back at the year and info on how you can support our efforts in the West Garfield community of Chicago.

Now, more than ever, we need community-led programs that support the help, healing and welfare of our community.

On this global day of giving, we first thank our neighbors and partners for supporting United For Better Living and Chicago’s West Side. Through all of the challenges of this year, we have seen the strength and endurance of our work in the Garfield Park community and greater west side

We are grateful for Executive Board, Advisory Committee, Staff and Collaborative partners who have worked as a team to make life and living better in our community.

We have been able to help hundreds of families with free food, COVID - 19 testings, vaccinations, booster shots and PPE resources, while operating and building upon our core programs such as Adult Literacy, Youth services, Senior programs, and Sports/ Recreational activities. All in all, we have more this year to reach our most vulnerable neighbors with much-needed support and assistance this year.

Please consider supporting our community-building work in Garfield Park this season.
