Youth Mentoring - Education - Recreational Activities

Future Leaders of Diversity, NFP teaches youth to think outside the parameters their environment has limited them to by exposing them to various ways of life. The goal of our programs is to provide the youth with the skills they need to become tomorrow’s leaders! Mentoring:
-Big Brother/Big Sister
-Outings to professional sporting events, theatre productions, cultural festivals and more! Education

al Services:
-Tutoring
-Workshops/Seminars (Money Management, Taxes, College Week & Financial Aid, Resume and more!)
-Scholarship programs available for youth to participate in sports lessons, summer camps, vocational, and certificate programs as well as pursue their academic interests. Recreational Services:
-Sports, Health & Fitness Camps

Future Leaders of Diversity, NFP is a start-up non-profit organization and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The fine folks at Mad River Chicago hosted Future Leaders of Diversity, NFP's first fundraising event to help generate the necessary funds for the co-founders to submit paperwork for 501©3 status. We had a great time with many familiar and new faces, thank you all so very much for your support.

To all of our friends, family, and supporters: THANK YOU.

We can't express how much we appreciate all the kind words, interest, and support from you guys. It's been a long time getting to this point, but we've finally submitted our final documents for 501(c)3 status to be recognized at both the state and federal level as a non-for-profit organization!

Please stay tuned, as we'll be posting some photos from our first fundraising event held a month ago at Mad River Chicago.

We'll need all of you guys to help us spread the word about our next event that will be on Saturday February 15th at McGee's Tavern. The event page is live and will be posted to our page shortly. The theme is to generate awareness and charitable donations for the homeless men, women and children of Cornerstone Community Outreach (see link below).

We're very excited to begin this journey with all of you, to help change the lives of the youth in our great city of Chicago.
