UChicago ASA

UChicago ASA The Armenian Students' Association is a group of students interested in the Armenian language, culture, and greater nation.

We aim to explore Armenian identity within the University at large, through our storied history, culture, politics, and traditions. The group meets regularly in connection with the Armenian Circle events (organized through the NELC Department), and organizes a Cultural Event and Armenian food-making events throughout the year.

*Membership is open to any registered student of the University of Chicago.

We warned you big things were coming……and they are sooner than you might have thought!! WE WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US ON FRIDAY, APRIL 17 @6:30PM AT THE LOGAN PENTHOUSE!!! This is a perfect event to spend time with your Armenian community OR learn more about it if you are curious about our beautiful country!! There will be FREE FOOD and performances and FREE FOOD and dances and FREE FOOD and singing!! We really really hope to see you there!

2 hours, a bus, 2 trains and some frostbite later, we made it to St James Armenian Church in Evanston!! Thank you to everyone from and .lfc for making this event come to life- it was amazing to reconnect with old friends and meet new faces as well👭!! Delicious food, great company, perfectly choreographed dances and most importantly a RAFFLE, won by our very own .petrosyan.9 !! Enjoy your free flight to Armenia (but if you don’t want it, I know a few people who would take it off your hands…😀)
