Not every disability is visible… and sometimes surviving the heat takes more than just finding shade. 💜☀️
For many children living with epilepsy and other neurological conditions, extreme heat can be more than uncomfortable—it can increase fatigue, lead to dehydration, and make it harder for their bodies to regulate themselves. Every child is different, so knowing your loved one’s triggers and having a plan can make a big difference.
For our family, something as simple as a cold slushie is more than a summer treat. It’s one small way we help keep Gray cool during hot days.
A little understanding goes a long way. Before judging what you see, remember there may be a story you can’t.
💜 Let’s spread awareness, show compassion, and create a world that’s safer for every family navigating epilepsy.
