Dance Loop Chicago Nonprofit status was achieved in 2002. As of December 2018 it is now directed by Artistic Director, Amber Echols

Dance Loop Chicago was founded in 2001- by Paula Frasz and a nine-member Board of Directors, dedicated to bringing high-quality audience-friendly modern dance to the city of Chicago and its environs.
