Message from 2nd Generation President/CEO

As I reflect on ABJ’s 31 years, the word that comes most strongly to me is Gratitude. I am so grateful that God has allowed us to exist and serve our village for 3 decades. Wow! I am grateful for every lesson and every person that played a role in our development over the years. You played your part, and it has helped to shape the organization in some form or fashion. Some have asked, what is so special about ABJ? How do they do what they do? The answer given by a former program member is, “They Love Us” and we do. Love and Art are undeniable forces that hold limitless power to transform, shape, build, and to bring about a better and stronger community. Let your love shine through…..Show it, Share it.
How can I be anything but grateful as I reflect on this unique, life changing organization founded by my beautiful mother of profound vision and courage, Dr. Vivian Rose Jones (now President Emeritus) and named in memory of my precious, fearless, and loving grandmother (Momma), Annie Bell Jones?
Thank you for all the love and for your continued prayers and support. Our Love, Our Legacy is sealed in the monument of history.
