The front end of a long line of Easy Liv'n Vans of Chicago caravan arriving at a Prairie State Vans' winter event in Northern Illinois, mid January 1978. First van visible at left was Mad Dogs' custom 1974 Dodge B200 panel van, followed by ELV club member Captain Zap and his early 1967 Chevy panel van, with him smiling along side his van's driver's door and followed by ELV van club member Ignatz and his 1966 Dodge window van. It was a cool (aka COLD) event! Photo taken by Mad Dogs.

It's Friday night, around midnight, and this photographic view is from behind the Easy Liv'n Vans of Chicago van club's "We've Got the Greenstuff" bar that was set up at the 7th Van Nationals. Photographic view is of the rear of the serving bar of the ELV van club's "Greenstuff" bar that the van club built at this Van Natz. Serving Greenstuff to all vanners who walked up to the bar that night! This annual van nationals event was hosted by the Buckeye Van Association of Ohio, at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds, near Cortland, Ohio in early July of 1979. Photographic view was of a late Friday night moment. Photo by Mad Dogs.

It's Friday night, around midnight, and this photographic view is of the attending vanner's foot traffic that made it to the front of the Easy Liv'n Vans of Chicago van club's "We've Got the Greenstuff" bar and the club's campsite that was set up at the 7th Van Nationals. Photographic view was of the front serving bar of the ELV van club's "Greenstuff" bar that the van club built, supplied and hosted at this Van Natz. This annual van nationals event was hosted by the Buckeye Van Association of Ohio, at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds, near Cortland, Ohio in early July of 1979. Photographic view was of a late Friday night moment. We had many casualties/vanner's bodies laying around that early Saturday morning at sunrise! Photo by Mad Dogs.

Great photo I captured of 3 original (1975) Easy Liv'n Van's club members participating at a end party van club vannin event in late fall of 1977. This was the end party location of a van road rally event that was hosted by Truckin Easy Van Club of Bridgeview/Oak Lawn. The end point was at a former warehouse building that once stood on the northeast corner of South Cicero Ave at West 59th Street, across from Midway Airport, since demolished. Photo captures young Crazy Syl, Starship and Vanilla from Easy Liv'n Vans participating at the end point party of this road rally. Easy Liv''n Vans' Mad Dogs with his rally navigator Ziggie, took First Place trophy at this event. Photo of ELV members by Mad Dogs. Slut Bus R.V.M.O.A.!

Custom vans on the road home from a great truckin weekend, in late Spring of 1999. It's May 31st, a Monday, and Easy Liv'n Vans of Chicago are caravaning home together after a great 4 day Memorial Day weekend truckin event that was hosted by Midwest Vans, LTD. The vannin event was named the 24th Midwest International Truck-In" that was held at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton, Illinois, on Memorial Day Weekend in 1999. We had around 6 ELV van club member's custom vans caravaning home together after the truckin event ended. Instead of all of us taking the interstate expressway road home, we took to the single 2-lane highway's back roads home back to Chicago, IL. Photo taken here by Mad Dogs captures his early Chevy panel van and ELV's van club member Tucker's 4th generation Ford Econoline Show Panel Van, side by side at a roadside gas station fuel stop (it was cheaper to fuel up there than filling up in Chicago). Gas station was located along Illinois Route 71, east of Ottawa, Illinois, on the road home.

A group of Easy Liv'n Vans club members giving the traditional R.V.M.O.A. club salute, in the Summer of 1977, with Midwest Vans club member Super Pole (left) joining in. As usual, ELV club member Ignatz (2nd from left, palm in face) showing his own way of shooting the moon along with the rest of the RVMOA van club members! An early custom made RVMOA ducky banner is hanging at right. Due to fucbuk censors, original ELV photo has been sanitized so we could post it on this site. Photo by Mad Dogs

Overheating on an Easy Liv'n Vans' club caravan road trip down to a southern Illinois truckin event in the summer of 1977! Photo captures a partial view of an Easy Liv'n Vans 12 van club member's caravan that took place in early August to attend the Central Illinois Truckin Association's 3rd Annual Van truckin that was held near Mattoon, Illinois. This photograph captures part of club's van caravan that had to stop because Spaceman's Red "Shorty" Dodge show van had overheated causing the 12 van caravan to pull over and park the caravan on the road's side emergency lane, along side of the I-57 interstate highway near Effingham, Illinois, until his van's radiator coolant eventually cooled off. Visible vans in this photo L to R:, Spaceman's Red Dodge Van, Zazu Pitts' 1962 Chevy step van, Vanilla's 1974 Ford Econoline 300 1-ton panel van, Mad Dogs' 1974 Dodge B200 panel van and Yellow Submarine's 1974 "Shorty" Dodge panel van. As photo show, the many vanners traveling along within these 5 parked vans are sitting on the highway's side embankment as we all waited for Spaceman'a Dodge van radiator's coolant to cool off.
