The Great River Road Charity Ride

The Great River Road Charity Ride Riding over 1,000 on The Great River Road to raise money for HopeKids charity. Studies show that hope can increase one’s overall ability to cope.

Each year, approximately 500,000 children cope with life-threatening medical conditions. These conditions affect the entire family with more than half of parents suffering from acute stress disorders and 80% of siblings having elevated levels of post traumatic stress. More than $800 million is spent on medical research annually to find cures for cancer or other diseases, but these families need su

pport now. We know we are not a cure, but we believe HOPE is a powerful medicine. To raise money and bring awareness to this exceptional charity, I'll be riding over 1,000 miles on a motorcycle, following the twists & turns of the prairies of Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota and along Mississippi River. Please join me and support a good cause!

The Great River Road Charity Ride for HopeKids begins in 50 days! October 1, 2023. From the City of Big Shoulders - Chicago - to the beginnings of the Great River Road in Minnesota along the Mississippi River touching several midwestern states the back to Chicago. HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-­threatening medical condition. We surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.
