Trans Empowerment Project is a national, community-led nonprofit working to move the 2Spirit, Trans, Intersex, and Gender-Expansive (2TIGE) community out of crisis and into thriving futures. We center Disabled, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) 2TIGE individuals by providing direct aid, mutual support, education, and community-driven programs that meet real needs in real time. Our wor
k includes emergency microgrants, community care initiatives, leadership development, and ally education rooted in accountability, not saviorism. We believe liberation requires more than visibility and awareness. It requires dismantling white supremacy, ableism, and other systems of oppression within q***r spaces as well as beyond them, while building equitable systems of care that are led by the people most impacted. Follow us to stay connected to our work, support trans-led solutions, and learn how to show up in ways that are affirming, informed, and impactful.
