Collective Compassion Nepal a registered 501 (c) (3) Non for profit organization

While “stuck” in Nepal during the unprecedented 2020 Covid-19 global crisis, a foreigner founded Collective Compassion Nepal with the support of local Nepali and Newari people, in order to help humans and animals who are most in need.

Hello friends, as many of you know, there are unprecedented Mother Nature calamities happening worldwide..and my spiritual country Nepal is one of them. Although my foundation is currently supported personally, I am reaching out to those who may want to extend their blessings to the helpless animals and humans who are severely affected by recent deadly rainfall and landslides that have wiped out entire communities and killed many humans and nonhuman animals. It is located in Roshi municipality, part of Kavre district of the Bagmati province.

CCN have strongly supported, especially now, many Animal Rescue organizations and individuals who are dedicating their time and effort saving what is left for the survivors. But there is one particular area where help and rescue hasn’t reached yet, and many community animals are left in a state of despair and shock..no food, hay, medicines, or shelter. The human residents/owners who rely on their buffalos and cows for survival are now exhausted and are faced with a new reality of having no homes, and even having lost loved ones.

Our long time animal welfare advocate friends TFC have reached out for a collaborative effort, and I’m taking this opportunity to reach out to those who can find it in your hearts to donate whatever you can, no amount is small and every penny counts. You may directly donate through Tula in Nepal, or you can donate to our foundation as it is a 501 c registered organization here in the US and you can get tax reimbursed. I know that the world has been a heavy place for all of us lately, and we all have our own personal needs and priorities. I still thank all of you who continuously support our work in Nepal, and even just through sending prayers will go a long way. Thank you so much in advance.

With your donation, we can help and save around 200 buffalos and cows with:

200 pc tripale
2000 kg calf feeder
Mineral 200 pacts vitamin
Ruchamax 200 pc medicine

Tripale is provide temporary shelter for the animals, and the rest are what the animals urgently need, according the veterinarian who are looking after the animal victims. According to our sources in their municipality, humans are receiving rice, food, and clothing, and are also being provided tents. While this time is important for them to rest and recover, please join us in giving them hope in humanity by helping their farm animals, who are the most helpless as their worth and suffering is almost always overlooked. They are just as traumatized, injured, and some may not make it.

Help flood-affected animals in Roshi Gaupalika this Dashain with Collective Compassion :

The animals of Roshi Gaupalika are in a terrible predicament because of the recent floods, even as Dashain draws near and we get together with our families in the comfort of our homes. They are fighting to survive in the wake of this natural calamity without access to enough food, water, or necessary vitamins. with order to aid with the recovery and provision of much-needed care for these vulnerable animals, our team at TFC Nepal is stepping in with a flood contribution relief initiative.

This Dashain, let’s extend our kindness beyond our homes and help those who can’t ask for help themselves. Your support, along with Collective Compassion Nepal contribution, can make a huge difference in providing food, water, and essential supplements to the affected animals. Please consider contributing to this cause and be a part of their recovery. Together, we can help them bounce back from this disaster.

Collective Compassion Nepal would like to wish our project manager Kazal Awal a very happy birthday! She has been with us for the last 2 years and without her our animal rescue and humanitarian work won’t be possible. She is an avid animal lover, founder of Together for Paws, and just a beautiful human being inside and out. We’ve helped so many animals and humans because of her hard work and dedication! Thank you Kazal for being born, Nepal and the world is a better place because of you!

Some glimpses of our everyday feeding at the Teku Trash site.
Everyday these hungry souls struggle to eat one bite of food from the pile of trash. If they're lucky enough they will find something but most of the time that's not the case. Hence we are helping Kathmandu Locals to feed them every day for the past couple of years.

On this auspicious occasion, let us reflect on Budhha's teachings of peace, compassion, and mindfulness, and strive to embody them in our daily lives. May we all find inner peace and enlightenment, and may the world be filled with love, kindness, and harmony. Happy Buddha Jayanti to all!"

Not many of us realize that the existence of these hungry canines is undeniably challenging as they look for food in the heaps of trash with hungry stomachs. These hungry souls who are starving, look desperately for even a grain of food in the trash, which we think of as dirt and waste. Let's work together to provide as much food as we can to those who survive on what we throw away. Please consider donating for their food and become a ray of hope for them.

A very Happy Nepali New Year 2080 from Collective Compassion Nepal!

This month we celebrate 3 years since we started our animal welfare journey in Kathmandu, Nepal, feeding stray dogs and other animals during the height of the 2020 pandemic. For the last 3 years, we have continued to feed our Teku Trash site dogs everyday with the help of our guardian angels the Kathmandu Locals. For this years’ anniversary, our foundation distributed month-long grocery supplies to our friends, the daily wage workers at the trash site, as a token of our gratitude for taking care of and looking after our beloved trash site dogs.

We are like a family here now, as we’ve known each other for 3 years, and we are continuously growing as a harmonious community for both humans and animals. The Teku garbage site is now a “happy” home to many strays. The number of trash site dogs have gone down significantly since we started 3 years ago. The canine cuties here are not feral or afraid of humans at all; as a matter of fact, they are treated with great love and respect, and we all play together! Most of the dogs even answers to their given names now!

A special thank you to the Kathmandu locals and Saman Shrestha for spearheading sterilization campaigns with different organizations, and for his nonstop dedication for the betterment of our Teku trash site dogs.

Thank you 🙏 to all of you who have followed our story and who support us in any possible way!

With the new governing mayor who has done such a great job bringing changes to Kathmandu, unfortunately our trash site is deeply affected due to less garbage for the dogs to rummage through, so they are now more hungrier than ever.
Please consider becoming a sponsor or a monthly donor to continue our work and service within the animal welfare community here in Nepal! To sustain our daily feeding for around 200 dogs, we need around $500 a month to help with our monthly expenses. Please find it in your heart to support us to keep our trash site dogs not only alive, but to have a good quality of life despite living in a garbage site. Danyabaad, we thank you in advance for your extending your kindness and compassion to these helpless sentient beings! ❤️🙏

Our website is starting to come together! Please sign up your email address to keep up with our stories and future monthly newsletters, and if you are interested in partnering with us or becoming one of our long time donors and sponsors. I would be more happy to talk to you! Thank you in advance for making our dreams come true!

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our spaying campaign for 52 dogs in Bardiya, Nepal. It has been an incredible journey, and we couldn't have achieved this milestone without the technical collaboration and support from .

All 52 dogs have been spayed successfully, and they are now on the road to recovery. We hope that this campaign will have a positive impact on the lives of both the dogs and the local community.

Hundreds of homeless dogs roam the streets every year, struggling to survive. They often suffer from malnutrition, diseases, and abuse, and their offspring face the same fate. This is where spaying and neutering come in. By preventing these dogs from reproducing, we can help reduce the population of homeless dogs and improve their overall health and well-being.

However, spaying and neutering are not always accessible or affordable, especially in a developing country where the problem is most prevalent. That's why we are launching a spaying campaign to help address this issue. Spaying and neutering not only helps individual dogs but also benefits society as a whole. It reduces the number of dogs that end up being the victim of human abuse and hit and run which ends up overcrowding shelters and reduces the spread of diseases like rabies.

Your donation can significantly impact the lives of these dogs and their communities. Together, we can work towards a future where all dogs have a safe and loving home and coexist with them in harmony. Please consider donating today to our spaying campaign and help us make a difference. Thank you for your support.

Our foundation was contacted by a man who has been helping needy individuals in the community, and now he has approached us as other NGO’s has denied their plea for help. His wife has been all of a sudden stricken with heart failure and is in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months. He only earns a living as a gardener, trying to also provide for their 2 young daughters while he also keeps busy going around asking for help to pay for the surmounting medical bills.

At first our foundation was only focusing on children, but whom are we to say no to anyone who is in their most helpless state. We do our best to support both humans and animals, so Collective Compassion Nepal donated 20,000 NPR or $160 to pay for her diagnostic cardiac MRI that is needed. There are still many tests and potential surgeries she will need, but she may even be too sick to have them.

This humble family invited us to their home, and despite being unable to breathe, the ill stricken young 35 yr old mother of two still gathered the strength to sit up just to give me a hug.I then prayed with her.

They have agreed to have their story shared in hopes that they can reach any individuals who have any extra blessing and help their situation. No amount is too small, and on behalf of this family we all would like to say thank you in advance.

Namaste 🙏 to all of you! I am again back here in Nepal and are visiting and reconnecting with the wonderful humans who have been part of our work and mission.

We are currently behind on posting our field work with animals and humans, but I will try my best to update everyone with our work here in Nepal! Our foundation is still young and just at the beginning of establishing who we are as far as online promotion/networking, websites and social media fundraising so please bear w us! We currently have no social media handler and I’m horrible at these things so please bear my efforts in managing our page in the meantime.

But best believe we never stopped helping all of our beloved humans and animals these last 2 years since we started!

Meet our very sweet elderly Mr. Ganesh, whom we have been helping through paying for his monthly medications and also provide groceries from time to time. He is 79 yrs old, have heart problems and other elderly related illnesses and lost his job as a long time gardener during the pandemic and despite losing everything the community gathered and helped him find a little space to call home. His room is tiny but he has everything he needs. He also recently recovered from Dengue fever so he may be old but he is strong. But he could use our help! Despite being left behind by family members, he is still smiling and is living his life happily with whatever help he receives.

He asked my translator in Nepali,
“Will you guys help me until I die?”
To my reply, we will help you until I DIE!” And we just both laughed.

Would you like to help sponsor Mr. Ganesh and other human beings who are in need here in Nepal? Please consider supporting us through donations and becoming a Collective Compassion Nepal monthly Patreon! Our website is still under construction, but the DONATION Button is up and running! No donation is small, every $1 counts! Please do send a private message if you are interested in getting involved with our humanitarian and animal welfare work here in Nepal, we would love to grow..the more support we have the more we can help vulnerable humans just like Mr Ganesh!
