Segun Òwèlè is an arts administrator and accomplished flutist whose work bridges performance, education, and cultural leadership. With a foundation in flute performance and music theory instruction, Segun brings an understanding of artistic excellence and organizational strategy to every endeavor.

He co-founded and served as Artistic Director of Dulcis, where he curated innovative programming and fostered interdisciplinary collaboration. As a Board Member of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Segun contributes to strategic planning and community engagement, championing accessible and inclusive musical experiences.

His administrative experience spans teaching, program coordination, and artist support, including his internship at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts. Segun’s work is deeply informed by his scholarly interest in African art music and its role in the development of young and upcoming performance and audiences, reflecting a commitment to music as a force for social change.

Nathaniel is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, with a Master’s in steelpan performance. Born in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, he is a composer, arranger and performer, having performed in multiple steelbands at home and on various percussive instruments throughout his musical journey. During his time at NIU, Nathaniel was also the director of two steelbands and a Graduate Assistant.
