September was an incredible month here in Chicago! We really made the most of it, between our usual learning and experiences and all of the great festivals, birthdays, meals, and great discussions, this has been a blast! Shoutout to SEMES in particular this month with half of our group being from Spain this past month :) but of course we love all our friends from around the world DGINA AG Frauen der DGINA YoungDGINA CoSMEU and more who we wish we could tag. We could not do this without our local partners UIC Emergency Medicine Residency Resurrection EM RUSH Emergency Medicine Swedish EM Residency Cook County Emergency Medicine Skokie Fire Department Evanston Fire Department and more! We are getting ready for another incredible month and our upcoming REUNION at the American College of Emergency Physicians scientific assembly next week and to introduce our autumnal October crew! Closing out summer in style with EMGLEX! What a great time we have had, between learning and baseball and festivals and fun together! Sorry I forgot to take a pic at one of our shifts but you have all been fantastic and we will miss you! Our usual belated post…about such a fantastic group! Despite the Chicago monsoons we’ve been having, it’s been such a fun summer so far! We had a blast making the most of the city this July with these wonderful folks. We will miss you all and hope to see you very soon once again! Hard to believe another month has passed! Thanks to our super May group! It’s been an excellent month full of new additions to the program, especially cool new prehospital experiences and you all were wonderful guinea pigs! Whew better late than never to celebrate our amazing APRIL group! We got to visit some new partner EMS sites for the first time and what a great addition to the program! We are proud of this group for holding down the fort independently while Dr. Asrow was at conferences in addition to the fun we all had together in Chicago. Welcome to our March 26 crew + our SECOND paramedic! What a whirlwind start to the month, and we are so touched to see everyone being so inclusive and making sure our newest paramedic felt right at home and part of everything!
