On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Faith Works will bring together youth, families, ministry leaders, and community members for a powerful day centered on “Multiplying the Impact: Building Strong Families and Future Generations.” Details
The day is designed to inspire, equip, and challenge participants to recognize the important role they play in shaping the next generation.
The Next Generation Is the Assignment
The opening session will challenge adults, leaders, parents, and mentors to recognize that investing in young people is not optional and that it is an assignment. The next generation needs our presence, guidance, consistency, faith, and willingness to create opportunities that help them discover their purpose.
What You Go Through Can Grow You
Dr. Vondale Singleton, Founder & CEO of CHAMPS Male Mentoring Program, will share a powerful message rooted in his own journey from growing up in Chicago’s Ida B. Wells community to becoming an educator, mentor, and youth advocate.
Through “What You Go Through Can Grow You,” young people will be encouraged to understand that difficult circumstances do not have to define their future. Challenges can develop resilience, empathy, faith, discipline, and purpose when we choose to grow through what we experience.
Dr. Singleton’s message reminds young people that where you start does not determine where you finish—and your story is still being written.
You Have Something to Bring
The afternoon will continue by helping young people recognize the gifts, talents, ideas, and perspectives they already possess. Participants will be encouraged to identify their strengths, develop their gifts, and understand that their voice and contribution matter in their families, schools, churches, communities, and future careers.
Faith Works 2026 is more than an event—it is an opportunity to strengthen families, develop leaders, inspire young people, and multiply our collective impact for generations to come.
