Alpha Phi Omega Midwest Alumni Association honors the life and legacy of Brother Lorenzo "Caden" Te — born on November 24, 1953, in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines.

In 1970, he took a lifelong step into brotherhood when he became a member of Alpha Phi Omega Philippines under the Alpha Mu Chapter at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City. Through the years, he carried with him the ideals of Leadership, Friendship, and Service — not just as words, but as a way of life.

On February 12, 2026, he bid farewell to this world, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, loyalty, and brotherhood that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Brother Caden’s journey may have reached its earthly end, but his spirit remains a guiding light to his fellow brothers and loved ones.

APO MIDWEST AA CELEBRATED ALPHA PHI OMEGA'S
100TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY AND
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY
ON DECEMBER 13, 2025

APO Midwest proudly and successfully held its Annual Christmas Party on December 13, 2025, in the Garden Terrace at the Pavilion, Elk Grove Village, IL, in conjunction with the 100th Founding Anniversary of Alpha Phi Omega. The event was filled with warmth, fellowship, and meaningful moments as members and alumni came together to honor a century of leadership, friendship, and service.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this centennial celebration truly memorable. Together, we continue to uphold the enduring legacy of Alpha Phi Omega.

APO Midwest Alumni Association Volunteers at the 2025 Chicago Marathon

The APO Midwest Alumni Association proudly joined thousands of volunteers at the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! Members came together in true spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service to support runners from around the world and help make this incredible event a success. This year we highlight the participation of Brods Kirby Lomuntad, March Jefferson Fernandez, and Everette Villota

What an amazing day it was at LaBagh Woods, Chicago last August 23, 2025! ☀️ Our annual picnic brought together brothers and sisters of APO Midwest AA for a day filled with laughter, food, games, and heartfelt fellowship.

From sharing new stories and retelling old ones to enjoying delicious potluck dishes, friendly competitions, and unforgettable moments, the event truly captured the spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. 🫶

APO Midwest Makes a Difference at Northern Illinois Food Bank
On July 26, 2025, APO Midwest Alumni Association volunteers rolled up their sleeves at the Northern Illinois Food Bank and packed an impressive 6,265 pounds of food—equivalent to 4,165 meals for families in need. In addition to their hands-on service, APO Midwest also donated $1,000 to support the Food Bank’s vital mission. It was a day of meaningful impact, living out the APO spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service.

APO Midwest’s 2025 Angels Cup Golf Tournament a Swinging Success
Held on July 12, 2025, at the scenic Glendale Lakes Golf Course, the APO Midwest Alumni Association’s Angels Cup Golf Tournament was a resounding success! The event brought together enthusiastic golfers, supporters, and community partners for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and purpose. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward APO Midwest’s service and outreach programs. Thank you to all who played, sponsored, and volunteered—your support helps drive our mission forward!

Last June 14, 2025, family, friends, and brothers and sisters of APO Midwest Alumni Association came together to honor and celebrate the life of Brod Joe LaMadrid, Iota 1968, through the conference of APO Necrological Rites. His legacy of service, leadership, and unwavering friendship was remembered with love, laughter, and heartfelt tributes. Though he may be gone from our sight, Brother Joe's light continues to shine in the lives he touched and the memories we hold dear. LFS, always.
