The Orland Park Vikings are very proud to announce that U18 CSDHL All-Star Keegan Bovee has committed to play for Illinois State University next season. The slick skating centerman will bring his scoring ability to the ISU program in Bloomington-Normal for the 2026-2027 ACHA season. “Keegan brought so much to our group this year, he could score, kill penalties, play on our power-play and played the game with an edge” said Vikings U 18 head coach and Hockey Director Nick Pollos. Keegan will major in Business Administration at ISU.

Congratulations to an important offensive leader, Giancarlo Petrucci, from the 18U Boys, for announcing his commitment to play ACHA Division II Collegiate Hockey for Georgia Tech University this upcoming season.

Giancarlo is a dominant and reliable forward, especially when it came down to the big State Championship games. He has always had a knack for finding the back of the net and his relentless drive always puts him in a great position for his team to win. While at Georgia Tech University, he will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Best of luck out on the ice, Petrucci!

Congratulations to the king of faceoffs, Brody Boyer, from the 18U Boys Hawks, for announcing his commitment to play ACHA Division II Collegiate Hockey for the University of Iowa this upcoming season.

Brody is a relentless competitor who continually challenges himself and his teammates to get better each day. His work ethic both on and off the ice will transition well into his collegiate years. The Orland Park Vikings are very proud to announce that U18 CSDHL forward Ryan Badger has committed to Illinois State University for the upcoming ACHA college hockey season.

The 2008 Born Tinley Park native has played for the Vikings for his entire travel hockey career. “Ryan has a unique skill set, combining skating, puck skills, and an aggressive style of play. Ryan also has the ability to play all three positions ranging from winger to center and defense, which makes him a valuable asset to Illinois state and their coaching staff” says Viking U18 Head Coach and Hockey Director Nick Pollos. “ Ryan will be an excellent Redbird and a great addition to the ISU program.” Congratulations Badg, very very Viking and CSDHL proud.

Nate has an unmatched athletic ability, with a relentless competitive drive that is always ready to help his team to victory. He is an AHAI All-State selection, two-time state champion and recently competed at the 2026 USA Hockey Chipotle National Championships. While at PNW, Nate will also be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. We wish nothing but the best for Nate at Purdue Northwest!
