The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will be opening its Affordable Multi-Family Housing wait list for one (1) bedroom standard and accessible units at the South Suburban Senior Living LLC (SSSL), located at the following buildings: 3210 West 139th St Robbins, IL 60472 and 15306 Robey Ave Harvey, IL 60426. The household will be required to pay rent equal up to 30% of their adjusted annual income.

Pre-applications will be available online beginning on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10:00 am.

The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) wants to hear directly from all Illinoisans regarding their housing needs. We want to make sure that the voices of pregnant/postpartum people and families with young children with lived experiences of homelessness or housing insecurity are heard.

Join their two-hour virtual listening sessions Wednesday, November 10 from 11am-1pm. Participants will receive a $30 stipend.

Effective October 1, 2021 parents who are unemployed and engaged in a job search or attempting to enroll in an education/training activity are eligible for three months of Child Care Assistance, provided they meet all the other CCAP eligibility requirements. If parents become employed or enroll in an education activity before the end of the three month period and meet all other CCAP eligibility requirements, their eligibility will continue through the full 12-month eligibility period.
