3rd Annual Boogie Celebration of Life was held at 1811 S Throop, Saturday 6/20/26, a safe space for families and friends of the community. If you missed it mark your calendars for next year 6/19/2027.

Thank you everyone who attended and supported! The Gonzalez Foundation appreciates your time and service to help the mission & cause David “Boogie” Gonzalez Legacy exemplified to community leaders of the past & future. Boogie not only was my uncle he was a cause and movement that still is rooted in our community & part of Chicago’s history as the first gang de-escalator of Chicago.

Special thanks to my team and Alderman Byron Sigcho-López Lucia Moya-Calderon Byron Sigcho Lopez for Congress IL-04 Loreen Targos always working around the clock for not just Pilsen Chicago
