Thank you to everyone who gave their time, monetary contribution, and above All their LOVE for Camila!

The event was a success and we exceeded our goal! Camila’s Mom was able to purchase a much needed new feeding tube for our little angel! This gift will make a difference for her continued recovery!

My favorite part of the evening was when we were on FaceTime with young Camila and gave her a cheer from all of us!! Her reaction was priceless!
This is what she needed most- LOVE! To know we care about her and her life matters!

Remember to just simply give LOVE- it is the best gift we have to give!

We walk for peace, we walk for justice, we walk for ALL the young children that are victims of violence! I believe we can make a difference!

We are grateful to all the News Channels and reporters that came out to help us spread pur message! This is the start of launching a Mental-Health program for adolescents!

We are overwhelmed by the support, love and above all, witnessing humanity… the ability to come together as ONE Community, “The Human Community!”

Little Village residents and community organizers called for peace and mental health support for their neighborhood Saturday during a peace walk and memorial for Melissa Ortega, an 8-year-old girl fatally shot as she walked with her mom.

My wife, Selene Partida Saul continues to impress me with her love for humanity! As soon as she heard about little 8 year old Melissa Ortega of whom was shot and killed in her hometown neighborhood of Little Village, Selene Partida went into action! She immediately contacted the Chamber and local Business owners, residents and community organizations to organize a walk for Life, a walk for peace, a walk against violence, a walk to create awareness for the Mental Health for our young people!

As a Chicagoan it is all to familiar for us to hear about another drive by, another act of violence. We are becoming desensitized by the violence that is happening all around us. More so our children are experiencing so much of this at a young age and they have no where to turn! We looked into Mental Health programs and facilities available to young children and there are very limited options if any at all (depending on where you live and resources). Our Young children are not only victims of these crimes, they are also affected in many other ways! Our hope is to bring awareness to the need for Young Children and adolescent counseling.
