Sometimes, sharing what you’ve been through can become a light for someone who hasn’t found their way out yet.

Talk about the lessons. Share the small wins. Be honest about the difficult days and the progress that nobody else can see.

You never know who needs to hear that life can get better.

You don’t have to share everything, and you don’t owe anyone your private story.

But when you choose to speak about your journey, your courage may remind another woman that she isn’t alone and that her current situation doesn’t have to be her forever.

Your healing can become someone else’s reminder that there is a way forward. ✨

Keep going. Someone may be watching and finding hope in your courage. 💜

Under Jim Crow, white store owners had a monopoly.

They refused to sell good tools to Black folks, or they jacked the prices up 300%.

Argue about it and you risked violence or worse.

Then came the Sears catalog.

Black folks cut the local stores out just by mailing a money order up North.

By federal law, the postman had to deliver your $12 shotgun.

White owners were so pi**ed they burned the catalogs, but there wasn't anything they could do about it.

Watch the full breakdown in the pinned comment below.

Some things are worth passing down. Harm isn’t one of them. 🔥💙

Finer Women Don’t Haze x National Hazing Prevention Week 2026 is officially here, and this year’s message is clear:

Pass the Torch, Not the Trauma.

We can honor our history without repeating harmful practices. From our newest members to our most seasoned Sorors, each of us has a responsibility to protect the Sisterhood and help shape what comes next.

This week, we’re making space for real conversations around accountability, safety, respect, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

So, Sorors, the torch is in our hands.

🔥 What will you choose to pass forward?

Disproportionate Fibroid Impact: Black women develop uterine fibroids at two to three times the rate of white women, often experiencing symptoms earlier in life with larger, more numerous tumors that significantly impact reproductive options and quality of life.

There is so much information coming across our devices that we cannot keep up with the atrocities of murders, suspect investigations, hangings, assaults, blatant racist acts, but this particular case has the world's attention much like incidents in 2020. The world is truly watching, calliing, acting in some way waiting for justice. And so are we!

Save the Date 9.11! Black women are facing health crises and it’s time to put the light on the matter and process how we move forward! The date is intentional and all are welcome to participate in this community forum that centers us in a space to shape a new future because our lives depend on it. Details are forthcoming soon! Do you know a BIPOC woman who has died during childbirth, after, suffered from Post Partum Depression? Or are you a woman who was detained in a carceral institution and did not receive adequate care? Or have you complained of symptoms only not to be heard?

05/15/2026

About three months ago we started a conversation about the maternal, mental and physical health of Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color with Black at center because we are dying during childbirth, but more importantly dying more afterwards. On 9/11 we are going to finish the conversation together.

SAVE THE DATE 9 11,
especially if you are a woman, you have a daughter, daughter in love, granddaughter or niece in their child bearing years or in menopause. This one is for you! Details coming soon.

The mental and emotional toll on women of child bearing age is real and our younger generations are afraid of dying for giving life, so they are opting out. The healthcare system hasn’t been kind to us since the period of enslavement and beyond with countless atrocities committed against Black, Indigenous and Latina women.

Karrie Jones, Mercedes Wells, Serena Williams, Tewana Passmore, Cherise Doyley and countless women have been treated less than and suffered harms because of their gender and their race/ethnicity.

Halle Berry was diagnosed with Herpes when in actuality she was going through menopause and likely misdiagnosed for her type of diabetes condition for over 20 years.

You will definitely want to be in this space on 9/11!
