RAIN OR SHINE, WE’D LOVE TO SEE YOU!

The rain is falling, but so are the blessings! Sometimes, blessings show up when we least expect them—and today, we’re choosing to worship through it all.

If you joined us last Sunday for our Back 2 School Rally, we’d love to see you again! And if you weren’t able to make it, today is a great day for us to meet.

Come worship. Come fellowship. Come as you are.

To our Community Resource Vendors,

Thank you for showing up and pouring into our community during our Back 2 School Rally & Neighbor Appreciation Event.

We are grateful to CountyCare, LINK Unlimited Scholars, Youth Connection Charter School, and Learn Together Grow Together Child Development Center for sharing your time, resources, and hearts with the families we were blessed to serve.

God gave us the opportunity to bring our community together, and we’re thankful you chose to be a part of it.

Thank you for helping us connect our families to resources that matter.

With gratitude,

True Light Church Baptist

Recap

08/27/2026

The story of what happened on our block is being shared!

We’re honored to be featured in 3:16 Magazine’s latest article, “True Light Church Baptist Brings Back-to-School Fun.”

What began as a church picnic has grown into a meaningful opportunity to connect with our neighbors and serve our community. On August 23, families enjoyed games, music, food, haircuts, backpacks, school supplies, vendors, and helpful resources—all reminders that they are welcomed, valued, and loved.

Take a few minutes to read the full article, then share it with someone who should know what’s happening at True Light.

And August 23 was only the beginning! More community events, service opportunities, and opportunities to come together are on the way. Stay connected for our full Back-to-School Rally recap and upcoming announcements.
