Have you “Googled” today? If so, you’ve seen the Google Doodle today celebrating Philipino Adobo by artist and designer on the Google Doodle team, Anthony Irwin! (🔁 )

Did you know Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12? Students are invited to create their own Google Doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools.

The 2023 student contest has closed already, but keep your eyes on Google (in April) to vote for the National winner. You’ll be able to choose your favorite Doodle that has the, “I am grateful for....” theme.

One National Winner’s artwork will be displayed on Google.com for one day (24 hours). He or she will also receive: A $30,000 college scholarship. A $50,000 technology package for their school/non-profit organization. There are also National Winners who receive smaller yet substantial prizes.

If you have Doodle suggestions not related to the contest, you can reach out to [email protected] with ideas for the next Google doodle. (I’m sure their inbox is flooded, but it never hurts to shoot your shot)
