The fight to stop Amazon's illegal subcontracting scheme is coming to Chicago.

The Delivery Protection Act would require companies to directly employ delivery drivers instead of using third-party subcontractors to drive down wages and undermine union standards.

It would be a game-changer at Amazon and also UPS Roadie which both use a scam subcontractor model to exploit drivers.

The law would help raise wages, improve working conditions, and stop companies from undercutting standards across the package industry.

The Delivery Protection Act will be introduced in Chicago City Council on September 15th.

In New York City, the legislation now has a super-majority of councillors in support.

Chicago Teamsters are joining the national movement.

From contract enforcement and steward training to organizing, photography and social media, today’s workshops gave Teamster women more tools to lead, organize and build power in their workplaces and Locals.
