We are beyond excited to share that Davenport Community Development Corporation in partnership with SocialCo-Lab and Digital Brilliance Studio are expanding our programming to include AI-driven workforce development and Generative AI training programs in Chicago, IL, in partnership with Davenport Community Development Corporation (DCDC)!

This initiative is designed to equip survivors of trafficking and marginalized individuals with the high-demand digital skills, AI education, and entrepreneurial tools they need to reclaim their futures with confidence, dignity, and economic independence.

We are breaking barriers and creating access for those who have been overlooked, ensuring they have the knowledge and opportunities to thrive in this AI-powered world.

The Davenport Community Development Corp Giving Tuesday Fundraising Event and Raffle Drawing
Welcome to our online fundraising event! Join us on Giving Tuesday to support the Davenport Community Development Corp's initiatives. Your contribution will help us make a positive impact in our community. Together, we can create a better future for all. Save the date and get ready to give back!
DCDC holistically trains and certifies individuals from historically underrepresented communities in Chicago and the Illinois South Suburbs, preparing them to enter the workforce as contributing citizens. Our holistic approach addresses their physical, educational, economic, and spiritual needs. In addition, we partner with nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and State Correctional institutions to overcome the barriers that hinder job placement.
A core part of our mission is our collaboration with the Feeding the Future (FTF) program, which prepares participants for long- term success and self-sufficiency. FTF’s comprehensive program includes an intensive food service curriculum, on-the-job training, resume development, mock interviews, work ethics, and financial management. Every program graduate earns at least two industry-recognized credentials, with 100% securing employment upon successful completion.

Begin Your Path to Homeownership! CHA’s HOME program offers two pathways to homeownership. The first is our Choose to Own Program (CTO), where qualified families use their housing subsidy towards mortgage payments for up to 15 years. The second pathway is our Down Payment Assistance program (DPA), which offers a grant up to $20,000 for CHA residents/participants and $10,000 for non-CHA applicants.
