Good morning, family! Happy Day 5 of the Summer of Service.
You already know the drill!!!

neither the rain nor the clouds can stop the work! Serving from the sidewalk at 79th & Woodlawn means a rainy day just calls for extra hands, big umbrellas, and strong canopies to keep the food dry and the spirits high.
If you are in the Chicago area and can spare some time this morning, pull up to 1200 East 79th Street (right outside The Woodlawn). Your presence would be an absolute blessing to help push through the downpour!
🌍 How You Can Support Today:
Volunteer: Pull up to 79th Street ready to lean in, help hand out lunches, and protect the setup from the elements.
Supply Donations: The ministry welcomes immediate supplies like bread, peanut butter, jelly, or bottled water, as well as things you might be clearing out of your home (children’s clothes, books, and coats).
The 777 Mission Building Fund: If you can’t physical pull up today but want to help secure a permanent, indoor sanctuary so the ministry can store inventory and serve without being at the mercy of Chicago weather, you can give directly to the GoFundMe Building Fund or via Cash App and Venmo. Every $7 feeds a child!
Let’s show out for the community, keep the energy beautiful, and make this 7th summer count. Be safe in the traffic, watch out for those slick roads, and give thanks for another day of service! 🌧️🥪✨
