We’re a diverse group of Jesus followers, a mosaic of cultures, ethnicities, beliefs, and backgrounds saying yes to follow where we believe God is already leading; A collaborative discipleship movement, rallying all parts of the Church to reimagine how we form the faith of young people — together. Motivated by John 17:20-23, dozens of Christian leaders have prayed for three years about how God can use the unity of the body of Christ to accomplish what we could not achieve on our own. Energized by these hopes, a collaborative team of leaders from the Fuller Youth Institute, Life. Church, the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Orange, Pinetops Foundation, and the Urban Outreach Foundation is guiding TENx10's efforts to change how we disciple young people.

You’re probably already seeing it. Not in statistics, but in real conversations, quiet withdrawals, and moments where you weren’t sure what to say.

And the research backs up what you’re noticing. Rates of anxiety and depression among young people have been rising steadily for over a decade. The U.S. Surgeon General has called loneliness a public health crisis. Research suggests 75% of all anxiety disorders develop before age 21.

You don’t have to have all the answers to make a difference. Showing up, consistently and calmly, matters more than you think.

The Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander church is not one story — it’s thousands.

Stories of ancestors who crossed oceans carrying their faith, their language, their longing. Of communities that rebuilt after exclusion and erasure. Of second-generation kids holding two worlds in tension. Of young leaders today who refuse to leave any part of themselves at the door.

This May, we don’t just celebrate — we commit.

To sitting with the complexity. To learning the history we weren’t taught. To recognizing that understanding these communities isn’t a detour from the work of the Kingdom — it IS the work of the Kingdom.

God’s heart has always been in this space. Our work is to slow down, lean in, and let these stories shape us.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and the church has a role to play. 💙

Depression and anxiety among teenagers aren’t slowing down. As youth leaders, we have an opportunity to create spaces where students don’t have to choose between their faith and their mental health struggles.

We’re sharing this resource from Fuller Youth Institute as a reminder that mental health-friendly ministry isn’t complicated — it starts with showing up, staying in the boat, and letting students know they’re not alone.
