Together, we're making faith matter more to teenagers. ❌

We’re a diverse group of Jesus followers, a mosaic of cultures, ethnicities, beliefs, and backgrounds saying yes to follow where we believe God is already leading; A collaborative discipleship movement, rallying all parts of the Church to reimagine how we form the faith of young people — together. We don’t agree on everything, but what we have in common is clear: Young people matter to God, the church, and us. Motivated by John 17:20-23, dozens of Christian leaders have prayed for three years about how God can use the unity of the body of Christ to accomplish what we could not achieve on our own. Energized by these hopes, a collaborative team of leaders from the Fuller Youth Institute, Life. Church, the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Orange, Pinetops Foundation, and the Urban Outreach Foundation is guiding TENx10's efforts to change how we disciple young people.

That finding comes from Harvard’s Making Caring Common, in Turning the Tide in 2026 (Gallup, 2026). It’s a specific comparison: young people under substantial achievement pressure with a sense of purpose measured against those under the same pressure without one.

The pressure doesn’t disappear, and purpose isn’t a treatment. What the research points to is narrower and still worth our attention. Knowing what you’re for seems to change how heavy the pressure sits.

TENx10 describes the Purpose emphasis as more than teaching young people about purpose. It’s giving them real opportunities to explore their God-given purpose within the church, seeing God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
Where does a young person in your faith community get to try something that matters?

If irrelevant, unloving, and inauthentic is what young people expect to find in the church — what does the opposite look like in the way we actually show up for them?

Not a better program. Not a cooler stage. A faith that’s lived out in real relationship — teaching that meets them where they are, love that doesn’t flinch at difference, and a presence that isn’t chasing an outcome.

“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed” (Psalm 126:1, NIV).

That’s a community remembering something so good it felt unreal.

TENx10 describes Psalm 126 as a communal song of return, renewal, and reimagining. It’s the song we’re singing toward this year, and it opens by asking God to widen our imagination about what a church looks like when it centers youth, and what emerges when relational discipleship becomes the norm.
Most of us have carried some version of an answer. It tends to go quiet when the work gets slow.
