Nelrose Family - today is Giving Tuesday! Back in 2020 when Gina and I started Nelrose all we thought about was helping, even on a small scale, dogs in need. We didn’t think about how much each rescue would cost. We only wanted to help these dogs. We knew that between the both of us that we could help heal these dogs, get them vetted properly, and help them find the best homes where they would be spoiled the way our dogs are. I am so proud to say that today we have rescued and placed 21 dogs in loving homes. That may not seem like a lot but for a small rescue like ours, being run by two animal lovers in their “free” time (which is most of the time, you never really turn off your rescue brain), this is huge. Gina and I have done all the fundraising ourselves, we don’t have big donors who contribute large sums to help these dogs. Whatever we don’t make fundraising or from the adoption fees, we pay for out of our pockets. We care for these dogs as if they were our own. Whenever people ask me why I run a rescue, I normally joke and say “it's because I would like to have a million dogs” but in reality I have 21 dogs (22 if you count Pip who isn’t from our rescue) who I would do anything for.
Today, I am hoping you can do two things for me. First, donate to Nelrose so that we can save more dogs in need and add these pups to our growing family. Second, share this post with your friends and family and encourage them to donate. No donation is too small. All of your donations go directly back to helping current and future dogs in need.
