🎒🎓 THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR 16TH ANNUAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL FESTIVAL/BEACON HILL FAMILY REUNION A SUCCESS! 🎉❤️
Our thank-you may have been delayed by the storms, but our gratitude was never delayed!
What a wonderful day of community, giving, and celebration! Because of the generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, 8 deserving students received college scholarships, more than 100 youth received book bags filled with school supplies, and families enjoyed a fun-filled day of food, music, live performances, and fellowship!
🏆 We were also honored to present Community Service Awards to Michelle O'Brien-Lee, Timothy Wallace, and Jasmine Heard for their unwavering support of the Back-to-School Festival over the years.

Yesterday Beacon Hill Community Services hosted our Pop up for the People event, providing free hot dogs, hamburgers, deserts, chips and beverages and a little relief to nearly 100 people impacted by power outages across the Southland.

We couldn't have done it without our amazing volunteers and donors: Joshua Williams Sr. , Shelina Bobita Smith and Al Albert Jenkins, Carla Johnson, Crystal Horton, Dr. Muriel Lee, Pastor Rickey Dorsey, and Candice. THANK YOU for answering the call to serve!

Special thanks to Troche and Trebel of T2 Entertainment for donating the music and helping with setup and teardown. You helped turn a difficult time into an afternoon of food, music, fun, fellowship and community.

❤️ BEACON HILL COMMUNITY SERVICES IS HERE FOR OUR COMMUNITY!❤️

The storms hit hard, and unfortunately, many families throughout the Southland are still without power. Some have been without electricity for days—trying to keep food cold, keep their families comfortable, and simply get through an already difficult situation.

At Beacon Hill Community Services we believe community means showing up for one another when it matters most.💙

So tomorrow, we’re firing up the grills and hosting a FREE POP-UP FOR THE PEOPLE to provide a little relief, a hot meal, cold drinks, and some good old-fashioned community love. 🌭🍔❤️
