The Day Center - Cheyenne is a community-funded nonprofit providing a safe place for individuals experiencing homelessness to escape the weather, enjoy a meal, take a shower, do laundry, and find a sense of community and support. WCH relies on your donations as well as grants from foundations and corporations for funding. Your tax deductable donations of cash and in-kind items are needed year roun

d and are accepted at the Welcome Mat Day Center, located at 907 Campbell Avenue. The Welcome Mat Day Center is the only day center servicing the homeless in Cheyenne. It is open from 9:00 a.m. Monday thru Saturday. Volunteers are always needed for a variety of projects. These projects are suitable for school groups, church groups, clubs and individuals.

As temperatures rise, the Day Center Cheyenne is in urgent need of supplies to help support our homeless community.

We serve the community Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Right now, our most needed items are:

* Bottled water
* Bug spray
* Hats
* Sunscreen
* Sleeping bags
* Wash cloths
* Oatmeal
* Paper bowls

Every donation makes a difference and helps provide comfort, safety, and care for those in need during the hot summer months.
