Who We Are

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. Our History

The F.O.E. was founded in February, 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattl

e shipyard to discuss a musician's strike. After addressing the matter, they agreed to "bury the hatchet" and form "The Order of Good Things." As numbers grew, members selected the Bald Eagle as the official emblem and changed the name to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles." The women's auxiliary traces its roots to 1927. Our Membership

F.O.E. membership exceeds 850,000, with more than 1,400 local Aeries in the U.S. Women's auxiliaries total more than 1,300, with more than 250,000 members. Members are recruited by other members and must be sponsored by two members before the membership process begins. Our Motto

WYOMING STATE CONVENTION 2026
THANK YOU, WYOMING EAGLES!

The Cheyenne Aerie & Auxiliary #128 would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the Wyoming State Convention.

What a wonderful week of reconnecting with old friends, making new friendships, supporting our organization, and enjoying successful fundraising efforts together. Your participation, enthusiasm, and dedication helped make this convention a tremendous success!

A special shout-out goes to our Convention Co-Chairs, Wes Cure and Shannon Baynard, for their hard work and leadership. We would also like to recognize Robert Loghry and his amazing kitchen crew for keeping everyone well-fed throughout the event. Your efforts did not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated. Every volunteer/employee showed up, helped, and made this Convention ROCK! We appreciate ALL our #128 members!

To those who were unable to attend this year, we hope to see you at a future event. And to the clubs that were not represented, we would love to welcome you at Mid-Winter and future state gatherings.

We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Mid-Winter Meeting!

Please share your photos and videos from convention in the comments so we can continue celebrating the memories we made together.

With sincere appreciation and endless gratitude,
