High school seniors, you can apply for the CHISPA Scholarship until May 31, 2026. If you are a Hispanic or Latino senior in Laramie County with at least a 2.5 GPA, just send in your completed application and transcript!

After completing our program in 2021, Grace applied her Gold Medalist scholarship funds—yes, the ones ALL Wyoming Gold Medalists are eligible to receive from us!—toward her education at Baylor University, where she’s currently studying political science and legal reasoning.

Just like when she was pursuing The Congressional Award, Grace has remained active in community engagement. She’s also put many of the practical skills she learned while pursuing her Congressional Award goals to use as a summer policy intern, serving Wyoming constituents on Capitol Hill.

The discipline and perseverance it took to earn her Gold medal are also still with Grace today, reflected in her exceptional academic performance at Baylor and current role as President of the Baylor Ambassadors.

Why does Grace recommend The Congressional Award program? She was thrilled to tell us:

Just 89 days until the annual Wyoming Congressional Award Golf Tournament (but who’s counting? 🙋‍♀️)

Volunteer need this Friday.

We received tons of pantry goods from the Post Office’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive, and we could use a few extra hands getting everything sorted and organized!

We’re looking for volunteers to join us this Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a sorting party at St. Joseph’s Food Pantry.

If you’re willing to help, please send us a message. We’d greatly appreciate the support as we work to get all of this food ready for our community!
