Self American Legion Post 6 is the largest post in the state of Wyoming. Membership is open to active military and Veterans serving since December 7, 1941. The American Legion was founded on four pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. Each of these pillars encompasses a variety of programs that benefit our nation’s veterans, its service members, their families, the youth of America and ordinary citizens. These programs make a difference in hundreds of thousands of lives each year. We are a War-time Veterans Service Organization and if you Honorably Served since 7 December 1941, you are eligible to join The American Legion.
