We were honored to welcome Eric Barlow, Riding for Wyoming to Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne!

During his visit, Eric had the opportunity to tour our facility, meet members of our team, and learn more about the vital services we provide to seniors throughout our community. While here, he and his wife Kelly, also rolled up their sleeves and helped put together weekend meals that will go out for clients. We appreciate his interest in our mission and the important conversations about addressing food insecurity, supporting older adults, and strengthening community connections across Wyoming.

Yesterday also marked the first day of delivering meals to Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming Meadowlark Elementary Site. Eric and Kelly rode along to help deliver the meals and talk with the kids. It was a great time meeting the kids and staff and showcasing how our community works together to help each other!

Visits like these help shine a light on the growing needs of our aging population and the impact that nutritious meals, wellness checks, and social connection can have on the lives of local seniors.

Thank you, Eric, for taking the time to see our work firsthand and for your commitment to learning about the issues that matter to Wyoming communities.
