Every girl deserves the freedom to learn, grow, dream, and shape her own future. 💛

October 11 is International Day of the Girl, a day to celebrate the voices, achievements, and potential of girls around the world while recognizing the barriers that still stand in their way.

This year's theme calls for action to end child marriage and invest in girls' rights. Around the world, millions of girls continue to face discrimination, violence, and barriers to education that limit their choices and opportunities.

At Zonta Club of Cheyenne, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential. Through advocacy, service, and support for education and leadership, we're proud to be part of a global movement working toward that future.

When we invest in girls, we invest in stronger communities and a better future for everyone.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

Awareness matters, but so does knowing where to turn when someone needs help.

Across Wyoming, local advocacy programs provide help and resources for people experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. In Laramie County, those resources include Safehouse Cheyenne, with both an office and crisis line available.

Whether you need support yourself or want to be prepared to help someone you care about, knowing where resources are available is an important first step.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night to celebrate 70 years of Zonta Club of Cheyenne! 💛

We spent a wonderful evening welcoming new members, recognizing some of our longest-serving members, and enjoying great company as we reflected on seven decades of friendship, service, and advocacy.

Cheers to the next 70 years and to our continued commitment to making a difference for women and girls here in Cheyenne and around the world!

Every silhouette represents a life. Every story deserves to be remembered.

Join Zonta Club of Cheyenne for our annual Silent Witness March as we honor those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence and stand together against gender-based violence.

The march will begin at the Wyoming Supreme Court Building at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, followed by a reception at the Laramie County Library at 10:30 a.m.

By gathering together, we remember those who can no longer speak for themselves, support survivors, raise awareness, and make it clear that violence against women has no place in our community.

We invite you to walk with us and add your voice to the call for change.

This is a special week for Zonta Club of Cheyenne. We’re celebrating 70 years of service, advocacy, friendship, and women coming together to make a difference. 💛

Since 1956, generations of Zontians have found ways to respond to the needs of women and girls in our community. The work has changed over seven decades, but the commitment behind it has remained.

We’re grateful to Wyoming News Now for helping us share a little of that story as we celebrate this milestone.

And there’s still time to celebrate with us! Join us Thursday, October 8, from 5:30–9:00 p.m. at LCCC for our 70th Anniversary Celebration. We’ll have cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, plenty of time to connect, and a special welcome for our newest members.

Whether you’re a current or former member, a friend of Zonta, or simply curious about who we are, we’d love to celebrate with you.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and consider what it means to truly show up for someone experiencing domestic violence. 💜

Listen without judgment. Believe their experiences. Respect their choices. Share resources when they’re ready.

You don’t need to have all the answers to make a difference. Sometimes, simply listening, believing, and being there can be a meaningful form of support.
