Congratulations to Colonel (ret) Carol Holland, our AFA Cowboy Chapter’s VP of Aerospace Education … she was recognized at the Air & Space Forces Association National Convention as one of only 7 recipients this year of the AFA Citation Award!

The AFA Citation Award is awarded by the Chair of the AFA Board of Directors to individual AFA members whose distinguished contribution to AFA in a specific field has improved and elevated the effectiveness of the Association in a national sense.

Chapter President Scott Fox presented the award to Carol at our October chapter meeting.

Words can’t describe the impact Irene had as president of our AFA Cowboy Chapter #357. She set the example for so many to follow & always ensured the Airmen & their families were taken care of so very well.

Her memory & impact will truly be eternal.

The Space Force is looking for “several hundred” new mid-grade officers and enlisted members during this period. Any service member can apply, even those with no experience in space operations. But priority will be given to those not requiring retraining into one of the Space Force’s three main operator career fields—space, cyber, and intelligence. We are so proud of our Cheyenne Cowboy Chapter team!

This weekend, at the Air & Space Forces Association National Convention, our Chapter President Scott Fox represented as our chapter & members were recognized with several NATIONAL awards!

The chapter received the “Exceptional Service Award - Advocacy (Large Chapter)” and the “Aerospace Education Achievement Award.”

Individual recognition included:
