We accomplish this through government affairs, education, and communication and act as the voice for hospitality, travel, and tourism on all related matters

Formerly the WLRA and WTIC, the Wyoming Hospitality and Travel Coalition is the state trade association protecting and promoting the hospitality and travel industries in Wyoming. The mission of the Wyoming Hospitality and Travel Coalition is to enhance the business climate, profit and economic impact of Wyoming’s hospitality, travel, and tourism industries.

Wyoming is now entering its peak tourism season, making it an ideal moment to remind colleagues, representatives and community members about the significance of our visitors.

Not sure where to start? Here are some quick talking points from the 2025 Travel Impact Report:

✈️ Last year, travel spending brought in $291.8 million in local and state tax revenue—that’s approximately $1,200 per Wyoming household.

💼 Over 33,900 individuals make a living through travel and tourism jobs.

✏️ Seventy-five percent of visitor spending was generated from international and out-of-state visitors, whose contributions benefit Wyoming communities.

Known as the “Daddy of ’em All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and Western celebration, bringing ten days of nonstop energy to Cheyenne July 17-26, 2026. Meet WHTC Member | Altitude Chophouse and Brewery

"In 1999, Greg Smith and Karen Robillard opened Altitude to combine sophisticated food and drink choices with a casual Rocky Mountain atmosphere. Over the past decade, Altitude has enjoyed recognition for its brews, cuisine, atmosphere and service."

Altitude has received numerous awards at regional brew fests, multiple medals at national and international competitions, recognition in Wyoming Homes and Living Magazine and Via Magazine, a recommendation by Better Homes & Gardens, and a Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Wyoming and Northern Colorado.
