4-H is a youth organization for kids age 5-18. 4-H has over 50 different project areas ranging from robotics and rocketry to visual arts to companion animals to livestock. You do not have to own an animal or live on a farm to be in 4-H. 4-H members are involved in 4-H clubs where they learn leadership skills, participate in community service activities, and meet other youth with similar interests.

There are 4-H clubs in all of the communities in Laramie County and in every county in the state of Wyoming. For enrollment information check out our website at:

Hello all,
Please find attached a flyer for the Smithsonian 4-Histories project, open to 4-H youth 10-19. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a group of your peers and the Smithsonian Institute to create a meaningful project to showcase to your community. This will be a commitment though, as the project last from October- March. During that time youth will work together to research a local change maker and create a video presentation on a topic related to their community. Check out the attached flyer, and please let Brenda know if you are interested in participating by Wednesday, August 26th. Her email is [email protected].

I hope you all consider this opportunity, as I think it will bring 4-H and the community closer together with the help of the Smithsonian Institute!
