Wyoming 2-1-1 is a statewide helpline and website which provides free, confidential health and human services information and referral.

Wyoming 2-1-1 is a nonprofit which helps residents navigate over 2,500 programs providing essential services—from finding food and shelter to securing adequate care for a child or an aging parent. We're a small nonprofit, funded mainly through grants and donations, with an enormous reach and an enormous heart. Launched in 2011, Wyoming 2-1-1 is the only comprehensive statewide provider of informat

ion and referral for Wyomingites, working with over 880 agencies and nonprofits. Our mission is to provide comprehensive information and referrals regarding Wyoming health and human services and to assist Wyoming communities with disaster preparedness and response.

When Linda contacted us after being discharged from the hospital, she and her spouse had run out of food and were unable to leave home because of mobility limitations.

By working with community partners and exploring available resources, immediate support was arranged while longer-term solutions were put in place.

Stories like Linda's are a reminder that behind every call is a neighbor, a family, or a community member facing a challenge, and that help is possible when people come together.

Eligible children can receive a one-time summer food benefit to help families purchase groceries while school is out.

Many children who receive free or reduced-price school meals or whose households participate in SNAP may be automatically enrolled, but it's always a good idea to verify your enrollment and mailing address with DFS.

Getting to an appointment shouldn't be a barrier to receiving care or services.

Through Ride United Transportation Access (RUTA), eligible Wyoming residents may be able to receive free transportation to healthcare and human services appointments in select counties.

If transportation is keeping you from getting the support you need, Wyoming 211 may be able to help connect you with available options.

Please note: RUTA rides can only be scheduled through Wyoming 211 and are not available through the Lyft app.
