Story Time!
One of our volunteers turned us on to this hidden gem of a church downtown. Allen Chapel AME. So our coordinating volunteer headed out to see what the fuss was about. Quoting him...
"As I walked through the door there was a lovely lady on my right plating up hot meals for the needy. To my left was a man, who turned out to be the Reverend, filling "Trouble bags" for the same purpose. I knew within 30 seconds this was a group of people we wanted to help."
The next day two of our volunteers went out and purchased food to help fill the trouble bags.
Within in a week or so after speaking with the Reverend Dr about what else we could do we made the trip to the hardware store to give the church's sign a scrape and fresh coat of paint!

Big shoutouts to our volunteers Aaron Garcia, Kaitlyn Polk, Steven Anderson, Jeff Fitzhugh, and last but not least Jake who's last name remains a mystery.

Also, a volunteer of ours went to one of the services at Allen chapel ame cheyenne, wyoming and said it was straight fire πŸ”₯ πŸ‘Œ! If you're looking for a church give them some serious consideration!

Shelly C. needed help landscaping a stubborn corner in her yard. Given it took over 1100 lbs of river rock it was no wonder! Our volunteers made quick work of the pesky space, had fun doing it, and made her and her husband's day!
We hope she smiles every once in a while when she looks at that corner and thinks of us! ☺️

Pics should be in chronological order.

With World Laughter Day and the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month coming up, we'd love to do some projects for our community and would love it if anyone who needs help with something would reach back to us with any projects, big or small.
