Celebrate Pink is a non-profit organization created in 1999 to provide assistance and comfort to those going through breast cancer treatment. We give monetary grants to help with personal, non-medical needs for those breast cancer survivors undergoing treatment. Anyone living in Laramie or Albany counties, or receiving treatment in Laramie County is eligible for a grant. Grants may be used for daily needs such as gas money, childcare, food, assistance with rent, the purchase of wigs and other prosthetics, as well as a variety of other personal needs. They may also be used to enhance a survivor's emotional or physical well being such as massages, facials, a night out with a loved one or a trip to the zoo with the family. Grants are awarded to applicants at the discretion of the Celebrate Pink Grant Committee and are typically awarded in amounts between $300-$500.
