Update: Cheyenne Wells had only a few more blocks remaining. Kit Carson at the ECB location has a few remaining and Arapahoe C&K has two left at last check. If you need a block, please check C&K in Arapahoe or Kit Carson ECB location. In Cheyenne Wells, check with Rosemary for a block. Thank you!

Good morning! Reminder…finished quilt squares are due on or about May 1. Thank you for those that have competed their blocks! They look fantastic! We have received about 45 finished squares so far but need more. Please finish up your squares and bring them back to where you picked them up. This project is an important part of our county and its history. We anxiously await your finished squares and are excited to put them all together! Thank you for completing your Commemorative Quilt Block for America250 and Colorado 150. Upon completion, please return the block to the same place you picked it up from. Either Eastern Colorado Bank in Kit Carson, Petersen-Smith Hardware in Cheyenne Wells or C&K Oil in Arapahoe. We are excited to see your finished block and begin assembling the quilt!

Do you need help designing and completing your quilt block for the Commemorative Quilt Project? Come to the Cheyenne Wells Christian Church on March 19th from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Can’t make it that day..no problem! Another day available is Friday, April 10th from 2 pm until 5 pm at same location.

There will be supplies available for your use during these times.

Remember.. blank quilt blocks can be picked up at the following locations: Cheyenne Wells: Petersen Smith Hardware; Arapahoe: C&K Oil; Kit Carson: ECB Branch location.
